¿MAYOR INDICE DE LESIONES EN MUJERES DEPORTISTAS?

Es un error enorme atribuir que las jugadoras de fútbol se lesionan más que los jugadores exclusivamente  por el ciclo hormonal. 

La lesión es multifactorial y mucho más cuando hablamos de deportes de contacto. 

Obviamente, en ese caso es muchísimo más multifactorial que sin contacto, pero aun en este último caso, sobre todo va a depender también de otros muchos factores. Desde la capacidad funcional, la capacidad condicional, la capacidad cognitiva, la fatiga de la atleta, la motivación de la atleta,  las emociones de la atleta. El clima,  la climatología del momento de la lesión…. En fin hay muchísimos factores que influyen en que una persona, una atleta femenina,  se lesione. Como,  por supuesto y de la misma forma, hay muchísimos factores que intervienen en qué un atleta masculino se lesione.

Sí que es cierto que existe esa tendencia  a controlar el ciclo menstrual porque parece ser que hay una hipersensibilidad en las fases de ovulación. Pero esto es como todo. Cada deportista es un mundo. Y cada deportista femenina también lo es.

Por supuesto si unimos la hipersensibilidad premenstrual que por cuestiones hormonales sabemos que se dispara la elasticina que hace que haya más elasticidad en el tejido y además de esto exista menos tensión en la estructura blanda,  si a eso unimos fatigadas, unimos malas mecánicas,  unimos una sobrecarga central y periférica pues por supuesto estás comprando boletos para tener más riesgo de lesión. 

Pero no estamos hablando exclusivamente de un factor. Esto se queda pobre, se queda  corto y simplista.

 Valoración del riesgo de lesión del ligamento cruzado anterior en jugadoras de fútbol amateur

RESUMEN

Escasos trabajos han valorado el riesgo de lesión del LCA en fútbol femenino mediante un enfoque multifactorial.
El objetivo del presente estudio fue describir los défcits funcionales y las asimetrías manifestadas por jugadoras de fútbol en diferentes pruebas de valoración, con el fn de realizar un análisis integrador del riesgo de lesión desde diferentes perspectivas funcionales y mecánicas.

En este estudio de caso participaron 17 jugadoras de fútbol femenino de categoría Primera Autonómica y Preferente Autonómica Femenina española, con rangos de edad de 14 a 23 años.

Las pruebas realizadas fueron: OverHead Squat (OHS), Drop Vertical Jump Test (DVJ), Tuck Jump (TJ) y Triple Hop Test (TH). Se halló que todas las jugadoras presentaron mejores resultados para la pierna dominante, mostrando una media mayor de fexión lateral del tronco (TLFA) al aterrizar con la pierna izquierda (8,88±5,15 º) que al aterrizar con la derecha (7,05±5,40 º) en el DVJ unipodal. Además, se encontró que gran parte de las jugadoras (41,20%) presentaron riesgo medio de lesión en el OHS, así como un desplazamiento medio de las rodillas en sentido medial (valgo) en el aterrizaje bipodal del DVJ (-1,88 cm), mientras que la mayoría de ellas (65%) no mostraron asimetrías neuromusculares de miembro inferior.

En conclusión, las jugadoras muestran principalmente défcits funcionales en la estabilidad central (CORE) y en la estabilidad de rodilla para resistir y transmitir fuerzas en acciones de alto riesgo para el LCA como los saltos-aterrizajes. Por tanto, estos défcits deberían ser abordados de forma integral con las futbolistas.
